Schuller, Trans. Thieme Medical: Stuttgart and New York, 1996.

This is a small book literally packed with structural
information about biochemistry and its functioning. It is aimed
at students of medicine and it is small enough to be tucked into
a suit-coat pocket. It is an amazing pocketbook, if you will.
The visual presentation drives the book and the
color plates and structural detail are well worth the price
of admission. There is much biochemistry here with a
solid introduction but where this little book really shines
is in graphically illustrating the many applications of that
chemistry.
This volume is an updated and expanded translation
of the German edition, which was published in 1994.
