Supplement

At the 15th Biennial Conference on Chemical Education in Waterloo, Ontario, August 9-13, 1998, JCE celebrated its 75th year of publication. The highlight was the Tuesday evening birthday party complete with pizza and cake. The cake, about 6 feet high, was specially designed as one of the round forms of the periodic table. Also at the Tuesday evening poster session, 26 posters celebrating the Journal and its history were presented.

Photos of some JCE activities at the BCCE, including the cake preparation (see Tuesday), are arranged according to the day they transpired.

For only $40/year, it offers an online-only subscription to CLIC along with membership in the Division of Chemical Education, normally $65/year. CTC subscribers receive access to all articles and supplements from 1996 through the current issue.

C&EN CLICs

Through special arrangement with the ACS, JCE High School CLIC is now able to provide subscribers with online access to Chemical & Engineering News articles that have been selected specifically for secondary science instructors and their students.
