Featured on the Cover: November 1999
The cover features two views of glass-ionomer cement, a modern dental
filling material. A transmission electron micrograph displays a cross-
section through a set glass-ionomer cement and a photograph shows a molar
restored with this material. The article "Chemistry of Modern Dental
Filling Materials" by John W. Nicholson and H. Mary Anstice appears on
pages 1497-1501.
