A Rolling Periodic Table
Daniel Dreyfuss
The Ethel Walker School, 230 Bushy Hill Road, Simsbury, CT 06070

Vol. 77 No. 4
p. 434

Abstract
The idea for the Periodicar came to me as a way to force my students to think about and explain chemistry at any hour of the day. I imagined myself chuckling as I drove past my students who would be driving or walking with a friend, knowing they would have to spend the next five minutes explaining the who, what, why, when, and how of such a weird car. It would be a community conversation-piece focused on science.

Chemistry Teacher Connection

The "Chemistry Teacher Connection" (CTC) is especially for high school chemistry teachers. For only $40/year, it offers an online-only subscription to CLIC along with membership in the Division of Chemical Education, normally $65/year. CTC subscribers receive access to all articles and supplements from 1996 through the current issue.

C&EN CLICs

Through special arrangement with the ACS, JCE High School CLIC is now able to provide subscribers with online access to Chemical & Engineering News articles that have been selected specifically for secondary science instructors and their students.
