After she went through the looking glass, what did Alice eat? And did it do her any good? Some answers to these questions are described in the article "Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Ate There" by Gordon T. Yee. Trying to answer these questions engages students in learning more about chirality and is bound to generate interesting, instructive discussions.

The looking-glass image of Alice, who is eating a looking-glass orange that does not taste like an orange, was drawn by Jeff Sims using components similar to those in the original Tenniel illustrations for Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found There, by Lewis Carroll. The looking-glass molecules were generated by Randall Wildman. The cover was designed by Betsy True.
