The table
below shows 19 general chemistry topics,
plus a topic called "Practice" which
contains questions designed to be used
to assure that the user's computer is
configured to view questions properly.
Included in the table is the number of
sets of questions within each topic and
the total number of questions (including
all variations). Click on a topic to
view a list of sets of questions for
that topic.
In order to view the movies and 3D molecules,
you will need the Quicktime and Chime
plugins. Chime can be downloaded from the
MDL website, and you can get Quicktime
from the Apple
Quicktime website.
All questions in this collection are
available to chemistry teachers who request
access. Because the questions include
correct answers, access to students is
not permitted. To find out how to download
the entire collection, click on the Answers
to Questions link at the right.

will enable teachers to learn
and to share what they have learned
about the most effective demonstration
techniques, the latest important
safety and waste disposal information,
and exemplary pedagogy involving
demonstrations.
WWW-deliverable
animations, simulations, calculations,
and other pedagogically useful
items that can be incorporated
into classroom presentations,
can promote discussion and interaction
among students, and can provide
