Narrative One should wait before taking a meniscus reading. Notice that in the beginning, the meniscus is at 45.60 mL. The liquid level rises as the titrant drains from the buret walls. After 30 seconds the meniscus has risen in the buret to give a reading of 45.54 mL. |
