Enzyme Lab is the second resource for biochemistry we have published this year and the third published in the history of JCE Software. We are very proud to include Enzyme Lab with HIV-1 Protease: An Enzyme at Work (1) and DNA Sequencing (2) in JCE Software's collection of biochemistry offerings. We hope authors will continue to submit software, video, animations, computerized lessons, etc. in this vital area, as well as all others. Lake Study for Windows (3) has become one of JCE Software's most popular programs. Publishing this update to Lake Study brings this popular program up to modern Windows standards.
How To Use These Programs
Lake Study for Windows is derived from a program designed for a college-level course for non-science majors, but its precursor has been used successfully in middle schools and with honors students at the freshman level.
Enzyme lab can be used when it is not possible to have students do the experiment. It can also serve as a prelab or postlab exercise.
