How to use this CD-ROM
The organization of the materials on Chemistry Comes Alive! Volume 1 is designed to maximize its usefulness in the chemistry classroom.Movies and animations are listed by topic in a main table of contents. In addition, correlation to several popular high school and college chemistry textbooks is provided. You can select the text you use from a list, and then move to each chapter to locate images that complement the content of the chapter. Movies and animations can be used as a lecture aids, with or without the included voice-over narration. Enough written information is provided about each video segment to allow students to use the CD independently.

The movies on this CD-ROM are 320 x 240 pixel QuickTime movies and can be played directly using MoviePlayer on the Macintosh or Media Player in Windows. Images from the CD can be easily incorporated into multimedia presentations or lessons. Use of the Bookmark function of the Web browser is a particularly convenient method of organizing material for a lecture or for a student lesson.
