Equilibrium Calculator 2.0

Equilibrium Calculator 2.0 calculates the equilibrium concentrations of all the reagents in an arbitrary chemical reaction with as many as 10 species.

aA + bB + cC... double arrow xX + yY + zZ...

The input data are:

  1. The reagent exponents in the equilibrium constant expression. These are the stoichiometric coefficients in the balanced equation except that reactant coefficients are entered as negative numbers and product coefficients as positive numbers.
  2. The initial concentrations of the chemical species. Species present in unit activity (insoluble solids, solvents, etc.) are treated by appending an asterisk (*) to their "concentration".
  3. The equilibrium constant, Keq.

Equilibrium Calculator does not provide these extensions.




The update of Equilibrium Calculator allows more flexibility in the number of reactants and products.
