Where can I get a copy of HyperCard Player?
Several of the programs on the CD require HyperCard or HyperCard Player. A copy of HyperCard Player is usually included on the System CD-ROM that came with your computer. Look for it in the CD Extras folder. HyperCard Player can also be downloaded from Apple Computer at http://asu.info.apple.com. Search for HyperCard.
Why does HyperCard Player open so slowly?
If you are using System 8.6 and have installed the Font Manager Update extension, HyperCard stacks and applications may run very slowly. To solve this problem, disable the Font Manager Update extension and restart your computer before attempting to run HyperCard stacks or applications.
Why is there only one item in the Inorganic Nomenclature menu?
The Inorganic Nomenclature menu should contain two items. If you are using Mac OS 9 or higher, you may see only one because of a change in the way that the font used in the menu is displayed. Inorganic Nomenclature will be updated in the next edition of General Chemistry Collection.
MacMolecule2 is required by Solid State Structures. Where can I get MacMolecule2?
Solid State Structures requires MacMolecule2 by Molecular Ventures, Inc. MacMolecule 2 is available in Full, Demo, and Lite versions and can be downloaded from their WWW site at http://www.molvent.com/ The Lite and Demo versions are free. All versions can be used to display Solid State Structures files.
