When using Internet Explorer 5.5 SP 2 or later under Windows, QuickTime movies do not load properly. Internet Explorer 5.5 SP 2 and later versions no longer support Netscape-type plug-ins such as QuickTime and now require an ActiveX control. Download and install the ActiveX version of the QuickTime plug-in from Apple Computer. More information about the problem is available at http://developer.apple.com/quicktime/.

Installation and Startup
Refer to the "Read Me" file on the CD for specific instructions. On Windows computers the file is be named ReadMe.wri. On Mac OS computers, the file is be named Read Me First!

There is no "main installer" or setup program for General Chemistry Multimedia Problems. To use the CD, all you need is QuickTime and compatible version of an Internet browser such as Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer. QuickTime installers are provided the CD.
