Molecular Modeling for Chemical Education
URL http://www.molecules.org/
Description This site is based on an NSF grant "Molecular Modeling Throughout the Chemistry Curriculum." The chemical structure page requires Chime for viewing and contains inorganic and organic structures. The chemical structure page would be useful for teachers introducing VSEPR structures, which are presented as thumbnail sketches with downloadable PDB files. The two sets of lab experiments (scanned) require CAChe for molecular modeling.
Keywords Molecular Modeling / Dynamics; Internet; Computer Assisted Instruction; Molecular Properties / Structure; Teaching / Learning Aids
