An animated, interactive aid for students at any level who seek to learn about molecular symmetry elements/operations, molecular point groups and chirality, and molecular array symmetry, this site provides real-time manipulation of more than 25 molecular structures and their elements/operations of symmetry. Access to the structures is possible from the structural units, from a menu-based "point group tree," from a menu of point groups, and from a list of chiral molecules. The user has real-time control of the symmetry elements to display (including incorrect ones), numbering of the atoms, the atom permutation process for each existing element operation, display of the point group symbol, and removal of all text from the canvas.

The site also has a section entitled "Electron Orbits & More," an animated, interactive, treatment of basic concepts behind electrons in atoms and derived electronic properties of atoms.
