Computers can be wonderfully helpful in organizing and running laboratory classes, but until now it has required a frightening amount of time and expertise to write their programs. Here we have eliminated the burden of writing the programs by constructing a computer system that produces them from the teacher's instructions. These are entered into the computer in a form that is easy for any teacher to use and the system translates the instructions into a program that can be called directly by the student. The system also makes it easier to calibrate and use other recommended equipment.

Our Secondary School editors work hard to distill all the JCE materials to produce a fraction of particular interest to high school teachers. We call it CLIC.
In recent years we have worked hard to better match our advertisers with our readers. When shopping for chemistry education materials, visit our advertisers' WWW sites first.
Take JCE along on your outreach missions. Copies of the Journal, guest access to JCE Online, our publications catalog, and more are available for your participants.
