The investigation of mechanisms of electrochemical processes often requires the comparison of experiemntal current-voltage dependence and a theoretical wave shape corresponding to an assumed model. Theoretical relationships between an electrochemical observable and the electrode potential are obtained by solving the mass-transport equations with appropriate initial and boundary conditions. Complicated reaction schemes often lead to nonlinear equations that can only be treated by simulation techniques. Here, we focus on these techniques in the cases of irregular and fractal surfaces.

Our Secondary School editors work hard to distill all the JCE materials to produce a fraction of particular interest to high school teachers. We call it CLIC.
In recent years we have worked hard to better match our advertisers with our readers. When shopping for chemistry education materials, visit our advertisers' WWW sites first.
Take JCE along on your outreach missions. Copies of the Journal, guest access to JCE Online, our publications catalog, and more are available for your participants.
