In this paper, we describe a laboratory experiment for chemical equivalent determination of an unknown metal that can react with mineral acids evolving hydrogen, using the proposed methodology.
The goals of this methodology are:
* Students must devise their own aspect of the experiment.
* Discuss this with the instructor, and
* Learn to use the literature in order to introduce them to scientific methodology.

Our Secondary School editors work hard to distill all the JCE materials to produce a fraction of particular interest to high school teachers. We call it CLIC.
In recent years we have worked hard to better match our advertisers with our readers. When shopping for chemistry education materials, visit our advertisers' WWW sites first.
