Soxhlet Apparatus and Chromatography Columns Combined

Abstract
Two designs of glass apparatus for use either as Soxhlet apparatus or as chromatography columns are described. One utilizes a quartz barrel which permits UV detection of eluting bands on alumina or silica packing.
