Abstract
Thin-layer chromatography is widely used in the undegraduate organic laboratory. When employing TLC for colorless compounds, a step to make the spots visible after development of the plate is necessary. In this article, we show how using a dipping technique makes the visualization possible without the disadvantages of other techniques.
