Abstract
For the last five years, Oakland Community College has sponsored a one-day community outreach program called "A Science Day for Kids". The program is meant to stimulate the curiosity of students aged 6-13 in the sciences and present opportunities for them to explore several different sciences in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. In this paper we describe a laboratory experience with liquid nitrogen that youngsters find especially exciting.
