Abstract
This paper discusses the effect SDS micelles have on Rhodamine-B diffusion in hydrogels. Diffusion cells where a solvent is sheared in place over a solution of diffusant have been designed and used with viscous solutions and are also used here with some modifications. The concentration of SDS is varied and the diffusion rate of Rhodamine-B is monitored in the cells.
