Abstract
This two part paper describes neural network modeling for chemists. While the first part of the paper covers the fundamentals, in the second part the technique is applied to solve two problems relevant to chemists namely, modeling and optimization of a chemical process and curve fitting. A comparative study of neural computing with statistical regression technique is also carried out.
