Abstract
A versatile and economical computer automated precision titration apparatus is described, comprised of a PC, pH meter, syringe drive, optoisolator and titration vessel. The peripheral devices are controlled by the PC through RS-232 serial cables utilizing custom titration software. Considerations for designing control and data acquisition algorithms are discussed. Sample programs are made available for use in performing fixed aliquot and end-point titrations.
