This study describes the results of a survey conducted in 1993 that focused on the content coverage of General Chemistry courses for science and engineering majors, both in the classroom and in the laboratory, as reported by 163 US colleges and universities. Comparisons to data obtained from a similar survey conducted in 1986 are provided, where applicable.
