| At the 15th Biennial Conference on Chemical Education in Waterloo, Ontario, August 9-13, 1998, JCE celebrated its 75th year of publication. The highlight was the Tuesday evening birthday party complete with pizza and cake. The cake, about 6 feet high, was specially designed as one of the round forms of the periodic table. Also at the Tuesday evening poster session, 26 posters celebrating the Journal and its history were presented.
