It is a pleasure to have this opportunity affirming the
ACS's appreciation for the role you play as faculty from two-year
colleges in preparing the next generation of scientists, engineers, and
mathematicians. In particular, I salute the efforts of
2YC3 in reaching out to the diverse groups of
students who are studying at your institutions, including older
students, female students, minority, and immigrant students. The quality of the conferences
you organize, and their geographic accessibility to your more
than 700 members, have resulted in catalyzing professional
development and growth among two-year college chemistry
faculty, and thus improving the quality of instruction
delivered to your students.

Our Secondary School editors work hard to distill all the JCE materials to produce a fraction of particular interest to high school teachers. We call it CLIC.
In recent years we have worked hard to better match our advertisers with our readers. When shopping for chemistry education materials, visit our advertisers' WWW sites first.
Take JCE along on your outreach missions. Copies of the Journal, guest access to JCE Online, our publications catalog, and more are available for your participants.
