This article describes the 17th Biennial Conference on Chemical Education, to be held from July 28 through August 1, 2002, at Western Washington University, Bellingham, Washington. The paper outlines important features of the conference program, including workshops, Plenary Lectures, symposia, and poster sessions. Special program highlights are also identified. Other features of the conference, including exhibits, conference banquet, and travel information are included. Details regarding conference regisration and application for housing and meals are provided. A list of sponsoring organizations and companies may also be found.
