Abstract
This puzzle contains 27 names and terms from organic chemistry in a 13 × 13 letter matrix. A descriptive narrative with underlined spaces to be filled gives clues to the terms students need to find. When all are found, the 13 letters remaining in the matrix complete a sentence describing a reason to learn these terms. It is suitable for any course that introduces organic nomenclature.
