Interactive chemistry activities developed for science museums are described and discussed. The activities are specifically designed for young museum visitors (6–10 years old). Each activity involves a challenge problem that can be successfully mastered by working with some simple chemicals. They are designed to be done on a table or rolling cart in a museum. No flames, stirrers, or elaborate equipment are needed. Each activity takes about 5–10 minutes.

In recent years we have worked hard to better match our advertisers with our readers. When shopping for chemistry education materials, visit our advertisers' WWW sites first.
