Abstract
We present the details of an optional third-year chemistry course for undergraduate students. The theory focuses on computational chemistry, specifically quantum mechanics and molecular dynamics. The students learn the theory through participation in three projects. The course has been successful among the students, even those to whom quantum mechanics was not a favorite subject.
Supplement
Specific information on each project and the computer programs are available.
