The Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR) is an advocate for a research-supportive curriculum that provides ample time for students to undertake research. The Committee on Professional Training of the American Chemical Society also endorses undergraduate research as a vital component of the undergraduate curriculum. In response, many chemistry departments have redesigned curricula to enable undergraduates to participate in collaborative research with a faculty mentor. CUR members offer here their strategies to create the time needed to make productive research a reality.

Our Secondary School editors work hard to distill all the JCE materials to produce a fraction of particular interest to high school teachers. We call it CLIC.
In recent years we have worked hard to better match our advertisers with our readers. When shopping for chemistry education materials, visit our advertisers' WWW sites first.
Take JCE along on your outreach missions. Copies of the Journal, guest access to JCE Online, our publications catalog, and more are available for your participants.
