Abstract
This paper describes a faculty experience of incorporating a "Career Week" within the chemistry curriculum to provide undergraduates with information on career options in chemistry. The Career Week and this article are premised on the need to actively recruit students into chemistry careers if the U.S. is to remain at the forefront of science. The beneficial influence of Career Week on students has been documented from students' written evaluations and by the increased number of students who subsequently pursued careers in chemistry upon graduation.
Supplement
A detailed description of the Career Week Activities is available.
