Abstract
The Council on Undergraduate Research provides a unique opportunity for undergraduates to have a positive impact on the future of federal funding for undergraduate research. An annual poster session on Capitol Hill showcases the research of undergraduates conducted at public and private predominantly undergraduate institutions, research universities, and at national laboratories and facilities. This event has generated interest in conducting similar state capitol poster sessions.
