Abstract
This puzzle embeds 29 names, terms, prefixes, and acronyms about carbohydrate chemistry in a 14 x 13 letter matrix. A descriptive narrative with underlined spaces to be filled gives clues to the terms students need to find. When all are found, the 19 unused letters complete a sentence that describes this major category of biochemicals.
