JCE Subscription FAQ
Below are some of the questions most frequently asked by prospective subscribers and the answers. If you cannot find the answer to your question here, please feel free to contact our Subscription Order Department (see bottom of page).
- 1. What are my subscription options?

The Journal of Chemical Education offers 1-, 2-, and 3-year subscriptions to individuals and to institutions/libraries. Subscriptions include our print Journal, a monthly publication that arrives in your mailbox or your department/institution library, and complete access to all areas of JCE Online, our WWW site. For those of you who prefer CD-ROM, our Annual CD-ROM (JCE CD) contains the editorial content of the Journal along with supplementary materials for the articles therein.
2. What is the cost?
Our subscription rates are broken down into four price categories: individuals within the United States, institutions or libraries within the United States, individuals outside the U. S., and institutions or libraries outside the U. S. The rates for each of these categories are available using the links at the right.
3. JCE is published by the Division of Chemical Education of the American Chemical Society. Do I need to be an ACS member to subscribe?
No.
4. When will my subscription begin?
Expect your first copy of the print Journal within 3 to 6 weeks after we receive your subscription payment.
Your JCE Online account will be available within about one to two weeks after we receive your payment.
Our Annual CD-ROM is available after the December issue is published. Expect delivery in January of the following year.
5. What does my JCE Online account give me?

6. What do I get on JCE CD?

7. Can I still order last year's JCE CD?
Yes. See the order form or contact JCE Software.
8. OK. Where do I send my money?
