In the article, "Pushing the Rainbow: Frontiers in Color Chemistry; Light and Color in Chemistry- Report on Two American Chemical Society Presidential Events" (J. Chem. Educ. 1999, 76, 737-746), the section on Exploring Color and Periodic Properties with Light-Emitted Diode Lasers should have stated that the new, intense blue LEDs contain aluminum, gallium, indium, and nitrogen (not phosphorus).
